Venice Commission expert: Late in March we’ll prepare our program related to parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan

27.01.10 “In the second week of March or early in April the Venice Commission’s preliminary program concerning the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, which are planned to be held in the fall of 2010, will be ready. Realization of these projects depends on the dialog that we are going to have with Baku”.

Luis Maria de Puig noticed the Georgian-Russian conflict as the most important problem of the past period. He said the organization held intensive discussions on this issue for several times and PACE made strong efforts to approach the two countries and established special working group for that.
