Ethiopian plane crashes over Mediterranean, 92 dead
92 people were killed as a result of Ethiopian Airlines plane crash over the Mediterranean Sea near the Lebanese coasts, APA reports quoting Reuters.
12:25 / 25.01.2010 Boeing 737-800 flying from Lebanon to Ethiopia was lost by radars five minutes after takeoff. Witnesses said the plane caught fire and fell into the sea. 85 passengers, including 50 Lebanese citizens, and 7 crew members died in the crash. Wife of French ambassador to Lebanon was also among the passengers.
