Azerbaijani president attends the opening of several facilities in Goranboy
[21.11.2009] President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of newly constructed settlement for internally displaced persons near Veyisli village of Goranboy region. According to APA, 63 settlements with 18 716 houses were constructed for IDPs in the country and 82 000 refugees and IDPs were settled there so far. The refugee camps were closed.

Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister: “Armenia has two choices…”
“We have witnessed many times that Armenia reviewed its previous position and then intended to step back from the already coordinated issues”, said Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Araz Azimov whilst speaking about the existence or non-existence of agreement on liberation of five or seven regions of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
[19.11.2009] Azimov said he refrained to make statement on any agreement and in any case, liberation of the occupied territories was one of the direct components of the solution to the conflict. “If the occupation is not ended, there will be nothing possible”.
