Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister: “Armenia has two choices…”

“We have witnessed many times that Armenia reviewed its previous position and then intended to step back from the already coordinated issues”, said Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Araz Azimov whilst speaking about the existence or non-existence of agreement on liberation of five or seven regions of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

22:08 / 19.11.2009 Azimov said he refrained to make statement on any agreement and in any case, liberation of the occupied territories was one of the direct components of the solution to the conflict. “If the occupation is not ended, there will be nothing possible”.
The Deputy Minister said seven regions and Nagorno Karabakh are integral part of Azerbaijan and it is not a question of discussions. “Liberation of seven regions, returning of Azerbaijanis to Nagorno Karabakh was the main part of Azerbaijan’s principal position at the very beginning. Armenia has two choices: either the conflict is not solved or the status is determined after the returning of Azerbaijanis to Nagorno Karabakh. There is no other choice, but there is a principle “Nothing is coordinated while everything is not coordinated””.
