British films to be screened in Baku

15:30 / 11.03.2010 The British Council, in partnership with the Nariman Film Production and with the support of the Union of Young Filmmakers offers a unique opportunity to everyone interested in British Film. The British Council told APA that on 16- 17 March two British films will be screened at the Union of Young Filmmakers.

“Echoing voices” is a regional Film project implemented in 5 countries of Black Sea region. This product uses art, specifically film, to engage key players and audiences in strategic priority areas such as the Black Sea region in discussion and debate about the influence of any conflict issue on our daily lives.

On screening days, which will take place at Union of Young Filmmakers on 16-17 March 2010, the audience will have a chance to watch two movies and share their views with other people as well as panel of expert judges. “Five minutes of heaven” will be screened on the 16th of March. The film is directed by Oliver Hisrchbiegel, written by Guy Hibbert. Liam Neeson and James Nesbitt play the leading roles. “Bloody Sunday” will be screened on the 17th of March. The film is directed by Paul Greengrass. James Nesbitt and Tim Pigott- Smith play the leading roles.
