Two explosions wounds 11 in Kandahar, S. Afghanistan

20:13 / 28.04.2010 Two explosions occurred nearby the airport of Kandahar city, capital of Kandahar province in south Afghanistan, injuring 11 people on Tuesday, police said, APA reports quoting news.xinhuanet.com website.
"Two explosions in a span of few minutes targeted the parking lot of a private security company near Kandahar airport at 08:20 p. m. local time injuring 11 guards of the company," a police officer told Xinhua but refused to be identified.
The company provides escort to the logistic convoys of NATO-led troops in south Afghanistan, the officer added.
It is a national security company and all those sustained injuries are Afghans, he said.
