Turkish Prime Minister’s nephew arrested
Mehmet Erdogan, nephew of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been arrested in Istanbul, APA reports quoting the Vatan newspaper. Istanbul Police Office received information that 50k cocaine had been smuggled from Diyarbakir to Istanbul.
15:48 / 12.02.2010 On February 9, the officers of the department to combat drugs detained 12 persons including Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s nephew Mehmet Erdogan and two women. Seven of them including Mehmet Erdogan were arrested. Prime Minister reportedly said: “Act in accordance with the law.”
