Mohammad Bagir Bahrami: “No country can attack Iran because this country was insured by martyr blood”

15:45 / 13.02.2010 Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammad Bagir Bahrami addressed the event organized for Iranians living in Azerbaijan in Gulustan Palace of Baku on commemoration of anniversary of the Iran Islamic Revolution. According to APA, the ambassador said the Iranian Islamic Revolution happened in the most geographically strategic place of the world and it had effect of love of liberty and humanism on the peoples living in neighbor and other countries.

The ambassador said his country achieved freedom at the expense of lives and blood of martyrs and no country could attack it. “This country was insured by martyr blood. During the Iraqi-Iranian war all hegemonic countries of the world supported Iraq and armed it, but we couldn’t get even bullets and prickly wires. The Iranian people could achieve independence after great sufferings. Today Iran is among the developed and leading countries for its space and laser technologies, scientific discoveries, Olympic achievements, film production, and other spheres. The ambassador said the number of university students reached three million after the revolution and the number of university professors and doctors increased for ten times.

Mohammad Bagir Bahrami said Azerbaijan and Iran entered into the new phase of political, economic, commercial and scientific fields and 2000 Iranian students were studying at the Azerbaijani universities now. “Every Iranian young man and woman should respect Azerbaijani national mentality and be an example in this field. The Iranian business people operating in Azerbaijan should offer the most qualitative product to the Azerbaijani consumers. The Iranians living in Azerbaijan permanently or temporarily should support each other and respect interests of both countries. There are issues not depending from us, but we can prevent all undesirable cases through the communication between us. It is in favor of us”.

The Iranian ambassador called on the Iranians living in Azerbaijan to support each other and urged the Iranian students to be most educated and gentle students at the universities.
