Sheikh-al-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh decorated with Medal of Crescent and Star

15:21 / 11.03.2010 Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh-al-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh was decorated with a Medal of Crescent and Star by INTERSAFETY International Security Committee and UN Awards. The ceremony of presentation took place on Thursday. INTERSAFETY representative to Azerbaijan Vali Yusifov presented the medal to Allahshukur Pashazadeh. He said the medal decorated world-known state and public figures. Pashazadeh was awarded for his long-term and sustainable activity for deepening of Muslims’ spiritual integration into the international community and contribution to peace and tolerance, as well as strengthening of ethnic and inter-confessional relations.
