Azersun Holding to build a tea factory in Tbilisi

23:20 / 14.11.2009 Azerbaijan’s largest conglomerate, Azersun Holding Group, will build a tea factory in Tbilisi next year.
APA’s correspondent in Tbilisi quoted Kazim Babayev, Azersun Holding Group representative in Georgia as saying Azərsun-Holding is planning to invest $2 million in the tea sector of Georgia.
At the initial phase, Azeri investors will collect raw material from local farmers to keep the factory operating at the capacity of 2 000 tons of packed tea a year.
The company also plans to import raw material from India and Sri Lanka.
The factory will employ 30 people at the first phase.
