The resettlement of the internally displaced persons from hostels and sanatoriums in Baku will start this year, chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov said, APA reports.
13:59 / 19.01.2010 Under the instructions given by the President at the meeting of the Cabinet, the committee has begun the work in connection with this since yesterday.
“We gave our proposals yesterday. The resettlement will begin after the proposals are considered and funds are allocated,” he said.
According to Ali Hasanov, 6100 families or 24,000 IDPs are living in 60 hostels in Baku. 2836 families are living in sanatoriums.
