Georgia begins to deploy troops on South Ossetia border

Georgia is going to get back Akhalgori (Leningor) region of South Ossetia by force.

11:25 / 15.12.2009 APA reports quoting the Russian media that Russian Defense Ministry said Georgia deployed troops in the territory bordering on this region. The Vedomosti newspaper writes that the American military instructors are teaching the Georgian army the war tactics in the mountainous area. The relief of Akhalgori is mountainous. Geographically this region has been isolated from the rest of the area of South Ossetia. One fourth of the population is Georgians.
Nikolai Makarov, Chief of the Russian General Staff, has recently said Georgian army has restored, even increased its military potential after the August war.
