U.S. Air Forces in Europe Commander visits Azerbaijan

The top U.S. Air Force Commander in Europe and Eurasia, Gen. Roger A. Brady, is visiting Azerbaijan Dec.8, Office of Public Affairs of the U.S. embassy in Azerbaijan told APA.

00:33 / 08.12.2009 During the course of his one-day visit, he will be meeting with senior officials to discuss the strategic partnership between the United States and Azerbaijan.

His trip to the region includes a visit to Georgia, as well.

As the Commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe; Commander of the Air Component Command in Ramstein, Germany; and Director of the Joint Air Power Competency Center at Ramstein Air Base, Gen. Brady has responsibility for Air Force activities in a theater spanning three continents, covering more than 20 million square miles and 92 countries and territories.

General Brady entered the Air Force in 1969. His career has included service and command support for U.S. military operations in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. Prior to his current position, General Brady was the Deputy Chief of Staff for Manpower and Personnel, Headquarters U.S. Air Force.

General Brady is a command pilot with more than 3,000 hours in T-37, T-38, T-1, KC-135, C-21 and C-5 aircraft.
