Georgia sends note to Russia
Deputy Ambassador of Switzerland to Georgia Anita Schluchter was summoned to Georgian Foreign Ministry. APA’s Georgia bureau reports that Anita Schluchter was given a note for submission to the Russian side.
00:27 / 08.12.2009 Georgian Foreign Ministry reports that the note expresses the protest of official Tbilisi against the visit of the representatives of Russian Federal Council to the occupied Tskhinvali region of Georgia.
This is the second note of Georgia sent to Russia through Switzerland within the past month. On November 16, Georgian Foreign Ministry expressed its protest against the visit of deputy secretary of Russian Security Council Yuri Zubakov and a number of ministry representatives to Tskhinvali.
