00:54 / 30.10.2009 Solemn ceremony on the 86th anniversary of Turkish Republic has today been held in “Gulustan” Palace. APA reports that state and government officials, deputies, press representatives, representatives of diplomatic corpses accredited in Azerbaijan as well as the Turkish parliamentary delegation attended the event.
Singer Azerin sang the state anthems of Azerbaijan and Turkey. Welcoming the guests, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic spoke about the history of Turkish Republic. Delivering a speech on behalf of the Government of Azerbaijan, Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov conveyed congratulations on the 86th anniversary of Turkish Republic and noted that fraternal relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan were further developing.
