Occupation of Shusha commemorated at the Alley of Martyrs
10:55 / 11.05.2010 18th anniversary of the occupation of Shusha town of Azerbaijan by Armenian forces was commemorated at the Alley of Martyrs in Baku on Saturday. According to officials of Shusha region, Public Union of Nagorno Karabakh’s Azerbaijani Community, Karabakh Liberation Organization and representatives of Shusha public community attended the commemoration ceremony.
Chairman of the Public Union of Nagorno Karabakh’s Azerbaijani Community, head of the Executive Power of Shusha region Bayram Safarov said he was hopeful that residents of Shusha would return to their homeland soon.
Safarov expressed his opinion about the restoration of Shusha mosque by Armenians. He said Armenians couldn’t repair the Muslim mosque. “The mosque will be repaired by the Muslims, by the Azerbaijanis”.
