Next talks on delimitation and demarcation of Azerbaijan-Russia borders start

The next talks on the delimitation and demarcation of Azerbaijan-Russia borders have today started in Khachmaz with the participation of the working groups of the two countries.

16:39 / 15.04.2010 The talks will last for two days. Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov, chairman of State Committee for Land and Cartography Garib Mammadov, chief of State Border Service Elchin Guliyev, representatives of executive powers of Khachmaz and Gusar regions attend the meeting from the Azerbaijani side, the delegation led by Russian President’s special representative for the delimitation and demarcation of the state border with CIS member states Alexander Golovin attend the meeting from the Russian side.

The Russian delegation will get acquainted with Khachmaz region today, the main discussions will begin tomorrow.

Khalaf Khalafov said three points uncoordinated on Azerbaijan-Russia borders, as well as protection of the water of Samur River, effective use will be discussed at the meeting.
