Elmar Mammadyarov: Azerbaijan does not need to participate in the summit on nuclear security in Washington

16:31 / 18.03.2010 “Azerbaijan does not need to participate in the summit on nuclear security in Washington,” Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said, APA reports. According to Elmar Mammadyarov, Azerbaijan does not have and is not going to have nuclear weapons.
“There is no nuclear weapon in Azerbaijan and it is not planned. Therefore, Azerbaijan does not need to participate in the summit on nuclear security,” he said.
The summit will be held in Washington on April 12. Georgia and Armenia will also attend the summit.
