Kurmanbek Bakiyev: “Neither Russia nor the United States of America had a hand in the events in Kyrgyzstan”
“Neither Russia nor the United States played any role in the upheaval in Kyrgyzstan this week which ousted the government”, President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev said, speaking in an exclusive interview with AFP in the southern Kyrgyz city of Jalalabad.

Earlier Bakiyev told Echo Moskvy that he didn’t rule out the outside forces playing role in the developments in Kyrgyzstan. He didn’t name any country but said it was impossible to coordinate such actions without the support of foreign countries.
