Landslide in Azerbaijan’s Astara region causes emergent evacuation of residents
A landslide caused emergency situation in Astara region of Azerbaijan, APA reports quoting the official website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan.
23:22 / 20.02.2010 Staff members of the Ministry’s South Regional Center immediately arrived at site and informed the appropriate organizations as well.
The landslide created emergency situation in three private houses in Kijaba settlement of the region. Residents were evacuated from the area.
