Azerbaijan and Pakistan discuss development dynamics of military cooperation
Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister, Colonel-General Safar Abiyev met with Defense Secretary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Syed Athar Ali.
15:13 / 22.04.2010 After visiting Heydar Aliyev’s grave and Martyrs’ Alley Pakistan’s Defense Secretary was solemnly welcomed at the Defense Ministry, state anthems of the two countries were played.
The sides discussed development dynamics of the military cooperation between the defense ministries of the two countries. Safar Abiyev said close cooperation with Pakistan is notable with successful results in all spheres, including military sphere.
They also touched on the military-political situation in the region, obstacles created by aggressor Armenia in the peaceful settlement of the conflict.
