Terry Davidson: The aim of U.S. embassy officer’s visit to Nakhchivan is to meet with NGO representatives

Political Officer of the U.S. embassy Joahna Gannson and first secretary of the Norwegian embassy Lars Hansen left for Nakhchivan, the U.S. and Norwegian embassies told APA. U.S. embassy Public Affairs Officer Terry Davidson told APA that Joahna Gannson’s visit aimed to communicate with the representatives of civil society.
“This is an ordinary visit, such visits are often paid. The aim of the visit is to meet with the representatives of nongovernmental organizations, officials,” he said.
Terry Davidson did not confirm the report that the diplomat had left for Nakhchivan to visit Beneniyar village.
