Internally displayed person throws himself off high-rise building, Azerbaijan

Jamal Kamal Kazimov, 30, who was displaced from Jabrail region after Armenian occupation, threw himself off a 5-storied dormitory building.

He was taken to the Baku Clinic Medical Center by neighbors and his condition is critical.

The motive behind his attempt to kill himself is not unknown yet.

Police have launched a criminal case under Article 125 "incitement to suicide" of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan has over one million internally displaced persons (IDPs) and refugees as a result of Armenia’s continuing illegal occupation of Azerbaijani lands including Nagorno Karabakh in violation of the UN Security Council resolutions and other international organizations’ decisions on unconditional withdrawal from the occupied lands.
