Azerbaijan supports OSCE summit in Kazakhstan

“Azerbaijan supports the idea to hold the OSCE summit in Kazakhstan in 2010”, said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov in his address to the 17th OSCE Ministerial Council in Athens, APA correspondent reports. He said this summit would increase effectiveness of the organization.

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev proposed to hold the OSCE summit in Kazakhstan on the occasion of 35 years of Helsinki Final Act, 65 years of ending the World War II and 20 years of Paris Charter for new Europe.
