ADB’s president: Azerbaijan’s economy develops more rapidly than Asian countries

According to H. Kuroda, Azerbaijan has collaborated with Asian Development Bank since 1999. Presently, ABD finances several projects in Azerbaijan. At the same time, Azerbaijan is participant of Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) of ADB. I hope that, our collaboration with Azerbaijan and other Caucasian Countries will develop.
The CAREC has been in operation since 1997 with the initiative of ABD. This program covers transport, trade policy and energy spheres. Azerbaijan, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan are members of CAREC.
