Ombudsman sends a letter of congratulation to the Press Council on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day – May 3

Ombudsman Suleymanova congratulated Chairman of the Council and representatives of the media in connection with the World Press Freedom Day – May 3, symbolizing the solidarity of journalists. In the letter Ombudsman noted the importance of ensuring transparency in the information space, coverage of events through the prism of transparency: “Today, society expects from the press, the media more objectivity, respect for the true word, professionalism, impartiality, the manifestations of attention to actual problems”.
