Russia bans import of Nestle baby food products
Russian Health Ministry watchdog Rospotrebnadzor returned to Nestle SA import application documents, Lyubov Voropaeva, a spokeswoman for the agency, said today in Moscow.
Voropaeva declined to comment further on why the documents were returned. Gennady Onishchenko, head of Rospotrebnadzor, said Nestle won’t be allowed to import baby food products to Russia due to “low production standards,” state newswire RIA Novosti reported late yesterday.
