Mass pogroms in Kyrgyz capital

The ethnic violence rose in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. More than one thousand people equipped with iron truncheons entered Bishkek from Maevka village this morning and started to loot the houses of Russian-speaking citizens.  The looters demanded the Russians to leave Kyrgyzstan and burned police cars on their way. Witnesses said similar events took place in Leninsk village near Bishkek.
