Bakiyev supporters brake into administrative building in Jalal-Abad region

At the time of the attack, police officers were protesting at the other end of the central square and did not get involved in the action.
There were around 300 Bakiyev supporters involved. The supporters said the reason for the attack was that demands for the release of the former defense minister Bakit Kaliev had not been met. A bus full of police arrived on the square.
