Two suspected militants were killed and one seriously injured when their explosives packed car blew up in Russia’s volatile southern region of Dagestan

The explosion occurred shortly past last night in the Khasavurtsky region in western Dagestan.According to preliminary information the IED they were carrying in the car self detonated near Toturbykala village in Khasavyurt district. On the orders of Kremlin the security in Daghestan and entire North Caucasus has been beefed up following Wednesday’s twin suicide attack in another Daghestani town Kizlyar in which at least 12 people, mostly policemen including local police chief were killed and more than 30 injured.
