U.S. representative to NATO: “Azerbaijan is an active partner of the alliance”

She came to Baku for attending the conference “NATO - A factor of peace and democracy for 60 years”. Davis said that they cooperate with Azerbaijan in democratic reforms, defense spheres: “Azerbaijan is also an important partner of NATO in Afghanistan”.
Answering the question whether Azerbaijan intends to increase its military contingent in Afghanistan or not, Davis noted that Azerbaijan had increased its contingent twice, from 45 to 90: “We welcome it and appreciate Azerbaijan’s contribution to this sphere”.
