UN passes resolution on 65th Anniversary of the World War II

General Assembly of the United Nations passed resolution on the 65th Anniversary of the World War II. Azerbaijan was one of the authors of the resolution presented on the initiative of Russia.

The General Assembly offered all member states, UN agencies, non- governmental organizations and individuals to note this date as a memory of the World War II victims.
