Azeri Premier to attend Yanukovych Inaguration

Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Artur Rasizadeh will attend inauguration ceremony of Ukraine’s new president Viktor Yanukovich.

The ceremony will take place in Kiev tomorrow. Viktor Yanukovich won a narrow victory in the country’s presidential election that gave him 3.2% lead over his major rival, PM Yulia Timoshenko. Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizadeh today arrived in Kiev, to participate at the ceremony of inauguration of the newly elected president of Ukraine, viktor Yanukovich. At the Kiev international airport Borispol, Azerbaijan’s Premier was welcomed by top officials of Ukraine, ambassador of Azerbaijan to this country Talat Aliyev.
The same day head of the Azerbaijan government came to the Supreme Rada of Ukraine where the new president will be sworn in.
