Chechen militants claim responsibility for Moscow metro blasts

The site didn’t announce the name of terrorist group organized the twin terrorist attacks in the Moscow subway stations.
Director of the Russian Security Service Alexander Bortnikov said the attacks could be organized by a North Caucasian group. Bortnikov said at the emergency meeting under the Russian president that bodies of two North Caucasian female suicide-bombers were found in metro.
An expert-analyst of the Russian law-enforcement agencies doesn’t rule out that the terrorist attacks were committed to take revenge for the death of militant leaders Anzor Astemirov, Salambek Akhmedov, Abu Khaled and Said Buryatski. Former director of the Federal Security Service Nikolay Kovalyov also confirmed this version. He said the female suicide-bombers could be Buryatski’s relatives. Kovalyov said that it could be considered as a response to the successful operations conducted by the Russian security forces because one of the explosions was committed in Lubyanka station near the building of the Federal Security Service.
